And while I did a lot alone, I did get help from my parents and friends, and there’s nothing wrong with that, but don’t let that be a crutch. I spent a lot of late nights and well over 100 hours working on this. If you put in the time and effort, you can pull off that cosplay you’ve been dying to do. Not to mention, my painting game was on point with my mask, which I did totally free hand. This time I modified patterns to sew the main costume, I templated and built my automail, I frickin made patterns and sewed my boot covers and gloves having no prior experience doing so, I used worbla for the first time to make a segmented hand, and I made my first mechanical prop. In years past, my involvement in my cosplay wasn’t always so hands on, frequently with others jumping in and just making stuff for me. This costume tested my abilities like nothing else, and while it’s far from perfect, I couldn’t be more proud of myself. Well at the last minute, we decided to do something new for Daisho and thought this would be perfect. She graciously agreed to do it and we set it aside for some future time. A few years ago, I mentioned to that I wanted to cosplay Lan Fan, but needed a Ling to go with it. I’ve always wanted to cosplay her, but never thought I could do it. Lan Fan is one of my favorite characters. The Albert or The King plush sets, which include the limited edition birds and both sets 01 and 02, require $100 contributions. This will get people either set 01, which includes Tohri, Azami, and Rabu-san, or set 02, with Hitori, Zakuaki-kun, and Ryuuji. The smallest contribution someone can make to the Hatoful Boyfriend 2nd Semester Plush Project is $25. A yet-unnamed $65,000 stretch goal has also been announced.
The goal is to make Azami, Tohri, Rabu-san, Hitori, Kazuaki-kun, Ryuuji, Albert, and The King plushes, as well as a special 12” Anghel set that will also include Wallenstein, Dark Anghel, and an Anghel Poncho. The project is hoping to raise $50,000 by December 6, 2016, of which over $27,000 has been raised already. This time, the goal is to make 5” plush birds based on characters from Hatoful Boyfriend and Hatoful Boyfriend: Holiday Star. The Hatoful Boyfriend 2nd Semester Plush Project crowdfunding campaign has launched on Kickstarter. On November 3, 2016, Hato Moa and Erick Scarecrow decided to do it again. 2,514 people ended up kicking in $145,015 to get stuffed Ryouta, Okosan, Shuu, Kazuaki, Sakuya, Yuuya, Anghel, Nageki, Souma Isa, and Maid Ryouta plushes. Last year, Hato Moa and Erick Scarecrow ran a successful Kickstarter campaign to create Hatoful Boyfriend plushes.
